Privacy Policy

Плай (Plai) is a free quiz game at plai.com.ua, run by the Плай team. Hosts create quizzes and run games; players join a game from their phones with a room code. This policy explains what information we handle, why, who else is involved, and what you can do about it.

1. Information we collect

From hosts who sign in with Google, we receive only basic profile information:

• your Google account ID,
• your name,
• your email address,
• the link to your Google profile photo.

We ask Google only for the “openid”, “email” and “profile” permissions. We do not get access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data, and we never see your Google password.

Content hosts create: quizzes (questions, answers, categories, settings), images, drawings and audio files they upload, and whether a quiz is shared with the community.

Game information: for each game, the names and avatars players choose, their scores and their answers in that game (buzzes, map pins, ticked options, orderings). Players don't create accounts and we don't ask players for an email or any other contact details.

Cookies and browser storage:

• a sign-in cookie for hosts, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days;
• a short-lived cookie (10 minutes) used only while you're signing in with Google, to protect the sign-in;
• browser storage (localStorage) on your device for preferences such as language and color theme, and, for players, the name, avatar and a token that lets you rejoin a game after a reload.

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

Technical logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps operational logs for a limited time.

2. How we use information

• to sign you in and keep your quizzes and games in your account;
• to run live games: showing questions, collecting answers, keeping scores;
• to show your name and profile photo as the author of quizzes you choose to share with the community;
• to keep the service secure and working, and to prevent abuse.

We don't sell your information, don't use it for advertising, and don't use it to train AI models.

3. Who can see what

• Your quizzes are private to your account unless you tick “Share with community”. Shared quizzes, with your name and profile photo, are visible to other signed-in hosts, who can play them or copy them.
• During a game, everyone in that game sees the questions, revealed answers, and the players' names, avatars and scores.
• Uploaded images and audio are stored under hard-to-guess links so players' phones can load them during games.

4. Services we rely on

• Cloudflare: hosting, database and file storage for the app.
• Google: “Sign in with Google”; Google Fonts (fonts are loaded from Google's servers); YouTube, when a quiz uses YouTube clips (the embedded YouTube player is subject to Google's privacy policy and may set its own cookies) and YouTube search in the quiz editor.
• Image search in the quiz editor: Brave Search or Openverse receive the words you search for.
• Maps for map questions: OpenFreeMap (map tiles), EOX (satellite imagery) and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (place search). Your browser loads these directly, so these services see your IP address.

Плай's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How long we keep information

• Account information: until you ask us to delete your account.
• Quizzes: until you delete them or your account. Copies other hosts made of a quiz you shared belong to them.
• Uploaded files: kept with your account, because several quizzes (including copies) may use the same file; they're deleted when you ask us to delete your account.
• Game information: kept with the game room and not used for anything after the game; we may delete old games at any time.

6. Your choices and rights

You can delete your quizzes at any time in the app. To get a copy of your data, or to delete your account with all your quizzes and uploads, email vadymboichuk@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days.

You can also remove Плай's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU or Ukraine), you may have further rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority.

7. Children

Host accounts are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age for consent to online services in your country, if higher). Players don't need an account; when children play, the host running the game is responsible for supervising it.

8. Security

The site uses HTTPS, sign-in cookies are signed and can't be read by scripts, and we never store Google passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't upload anything sensitive into quizzes.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll show a notice in the app.

Плай (Plai) — безкоштовна гра-вікторина на plai.com.ua, яку підтримує команда Плаю. Ведучі створюють вікторини й проводять ігри, а гравці приєднуються з телефонів за кодом кімнати. Ця політика пояснює, яку інформацію ми обробляємо, навіщо, хто ще до цього залучений і що ви можете з цим зробити.

1. Яку інформацію ми збираємо

Від ведучих, які входять через Google, ми отримуємо лише основні дані профілю:

• ідентифікатор вашого Google-акаунта,
• ваше ім’я,
• вашу адресу електронної пошти,
• посилання на фото вашого профілю Google.

Ми просимо в Google лише дозволи «openid», «email» і «profile». Ми не маємо доступу до вашої пошти Gmail, Google Диска, контактів, календаря чи інших даних Google і ніколи не бачимо вашого пароля від Google.

Вміст, який створюють ведучі: вікторини (запитання, відповіді, категорії, налаштування), завантажені зображення, малюнки й аудіо, а також позначку, чи поширено вікторину в спільноті.

Дані гри: для кожної гри — імена й аватари, які обирають гравці, їхні бали та відповіді в цій грі (натискання кнопки, мітки на мапі, позначені варіанти, порядок пунктів). Гравці не створюють акаунтів, і ми не просимо в них пошту чи інші контакти.

Файли cookie та сховище браузера:

• cookie входу для ведучих — тримає вас у системі до 30 днів;
• короткочасний cookie (10 хвилин), який використовується лише під час входу через Google, щоб захистити вхід;
• сховище браузера (localStorage) на вашому пристрої для налаштувань, як-от мова й кольорова тема, а для гравців — ім’я, аватар і токен, щоб повернутися до гри після перезавантаження.

Ми не використовуємо рекламних чи аналітичних cookie і не відстежуємо вас на інших сайтах.

Технічні журнали: наш хостинг-провайдер (Cloudflare) обробляє технічні дані, як-от IP-адреси й параметри запитів, щоб доставляти сайт і захищати його від зловживань, і зберігає робочі журнали обмежений час.

2. Як ми використовуємо інформацію

• щоб ви могли увійти, а ваші вікторини та ігри зберігалися у вашому акаунті;
• щоб проводити ігри наживо: показувати запитання, збирати відповіді, рахувати бали;
• щоб показувати ваше ім’я та фото профілю як автора вікторин, якими ви вирішили поділитися зі спільнотою;
• щоб сервіс працював безпечно і щоб запобігати зловживанням.

Ми не продаємо вашу інформацію, не використовуємо її для реклами та не навчаємо на ній моделей штучного інтелекту.

3. Хто що бачить

• Ваші вікторини видно лише у вашому акаунті, доки ви не позначите «Поділитися зі спільнотою». Поширені вікторини разом із вашим ім’ям і фото профілю бачать інші ведучі, які увійшли в систему; вони можуть зіграти їх або скопіювати собі.
• Під час гри всі її учасники бачать запитання, відкриті відповіді, а також імена, аватари й бали гравців.
• Завантажені зображення й аудіо зберігаються за посиланнями, які важко вгадати, щоб телефони гравців могли їх відкривати під час гри.

4. Сервіси, якими ми користуємося

• Cloudflare — хостинг, база даних і сховище файлів застосунку.
• Google — «Увійти через Google»; Google Fonts (шрифти завантажуються із серверів Google); YouTube, коли вікторина використовує кліпи з YouTube (вбудований програвач YouTube підпадає під політику конфіденційності Google і може встановлювати власні cookie), а також пошук YouTube у редакторі вікторин.
• Пошук зображень у редакторі: Brave Search або Openverse отримують слова, які ви шукаєте.
• Мапи для запитань на мапі: OpenFreeMap (мапа), EOX (супутникові знімки) та OpenStreetMap Nominatim (пошук місць). Ваш браузер звертається до них напряму, тож ці сервіси бачать вашу IP-адресу.

Використання й передавання Плаєм інформації, отриманої через API Google, відповідає Політиці щодо даних користувачів сервісів API Google (Google API Services User Data Policy), зокрема вимогам щодо обмеженого використання (Limited Use).

5. Скільки ми зберігаємо інформацію

• Дані акаунта — доки ви не попросите видалити акаунт.
• Вікторини — доки ви їх не видалите або не видалите акаунт. Копії ваших поширених вікторин, які зробили інші ведучі, належать їм.
• Завантажені файли — зберігаються з вашим акаунтом, бо той самий файл можуть використовувати кілька вікторин (зокрема копії); їх видаляють, коли ви просите видалити акаунт.
• Дані гри — зберігаються разом з ігровою кімнатою й після гри ні для чого не використовуються; старі ігри ми можемо видалити будь-коли.

6. Ваш вибір і права

Ви можете будь-коли видалити свої вікторини в застосунку. Щоб отримати копію своїх даних або видалити акаунт з усіма вікторинами й файлами, напишіть на vadymboichuk@gmail.com. Ми відповімо протягом 30 днів.

Ви також можете будь-коли скасувати доступ Плаю до свого Google-акаунта на myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Залежно від того, де ви живете (наприклад, в ЄС чи в Україні), ви можете мати й інші права: на доступ до своїх персональних даних, їх виправлення, видалення чи обмеження обробки, а також право подати скаргу до органу із захисту даних.

7. Діти

Акаунти ведучих не призначені для дітей до 13 років (або до мінімального віку згоди на онлайн-сервіси у вашій країні, якщо він вищий). Гравцям акаунт не потрібен; коли грають діти, за гру відповідає ведучий, який її проводить.

8. Безпека

Сайт працює через HTTPS, cookie входу підписані й недоступні для скриптів, а паролів від Google ми ніколи не зберігаємо. Абсолютно захищених систем не буває, тож не завантажуйте у вікторини нічого чутливого.

9. Зміни до політики

Якщо ми змінимо цю політику, оновимо дату вгорі, а про важливі зміни повідомимо в застосунку.
